Balor brings goods into Mistria through his traveling Wagon and often stays at the Sleeping Dragon Inn. Trading explains where players meet him, while his relationship events reveal the travel history and family connections behind the polished merchant persona.
He is a marriage candidate, but romance does not grant a confirmed permanent shop discount. Evaluate the route for its scenes and character writing instead of expecting an income upgrade from the relationship.
Check the Wagon and Inn before chasing a fixed schedule
Balor's Wagon and Sleeping Dragon Inn are the most useful starting locations. Friday gatherings, Saturday Market, weather, festivals, and relationship scenes can change where he stands during the day.
Summer 10 is his birthday. Put the gift in your inventory before leaving the farm and check the map first; the merchant's shop availability and his current character position are related, but they are not always the same thing.
Balance Balor's curries, artifacts, and Perfect Gems

Shop inventory and gift preferences answer different questions
A product appearing in the Wagon proves only that it can be sold there at that time. It does not prove Balor Loves it, and a high price does not create a stronger reaction than the preference list allows.
When results differ, verify the exact item, market state, game version, and Mods that alter shops, dialogue, or schedules. Keep a backup before changing relationship or merchant data.
