Fields of Mistria Romance Options
Choose a candidate by story and personality, then use gifts, conversations, and heart events to move the relationship forward.
Direct answer
Fields of Mistria has 12 confirmed marriage candidates, and the romance system is not restricted by the player's gender. Build the relationship through daily conversations, gifts, and heart events; 1.0 adds proposals, weddings, marriage, and children, but specific events may still require story or area progress.

The candidate list is a starting point
Celine, Juniper, Reina, Valen, Adeline, Seridia, Balor, March, Hayden, Ryis, Eiland, and Caldarus are the 12 candidates tracked in the current guide. Their personalities, jobs, and story roles are different, so a useful route starts with the character page rather than a single ranking.
The directory separates candidates from ordinary residents. A resident can be important to the town and still not be a romance route; do not read a high friendship level as a promise of marriage content.
| Group | Candidates |
|---|---|
| Bachelorettes | Celine、Juniper、Reina、Valen、Adeline、Seridia |
| Bachelors | Balor、March、Hayden、Ryis、Eiland、Caldarus |
Raise the relationship before chasing an event
Talk to the character, give one suitable gift per day, and use the birthday calendar to prepare a stronger item. Loved is efficient when available; a repeatable Liked item is often better for the long routine.
Heart events can depend on time, place, season, quest progress, or an area that has not opened yet. If the next scene does not trigger, check those conditions before assuming the route is broken.
Dating, marriage, and family are separate milestones
The 1.0 system treats dating, proposal, wedding, marriage, and children as related but distinct steps. The exact trigger and available dialogue can vary by candidate, so the character page should be the source for route-specific details.
Caldarus and Seridia are more closely connected to story progression, so their pages carry stronger spoiler boundaries. Use the safe overview first if you want to keep the main story surprises intact.
Dating more than one candidate
You can explore more than one dating route before choosing a spouse. Keep separate notes for heart events and invitations, because progress with one candidate does not automatically satisfy another candidate's condition.
The official 1.0 FAQ states that after marriage, other relationships become Best Friend status. Save before a proposal if you want to review the route, because only one candidate can become your spouse.
Marriage, family, and story gates
The 1.0 route continues beyond Dating into proposals, marriage, and family content. The shared rules are useful for planning, but a character page remains the authority for that character's event location and story requirements.
Caldarus, Seridia, and other story-linked routes can contain spoilers or mine-related prerequisites. Read the safe overview first and open the detailed event route only when you are ready.
