✦When did 1.0 release?

The official 1.0 release date is August 5, 2026, on Windows PC through Steam. That date marks the full release, not a console launch or a promise that every later system has stopped changing.

When comparing an article, video, or store snippet, check whether it describes Early Access, the 1.0 launch build, or a later patch. The version label is part of the answer.

✿Can an Early Access save continue?

Early Access saves can continue into the 1.0 game. You do not need to restart solely because the release changed from preview to full version, although a clean new save remains an optional choice for players who want to revisit the opening.

Back up a save before installing Mods or testing a new engine branch. A save that worked in an unmodified client may still need a Mod-specific migration check.

◆What changed for relationships and town progress?

The 1.0 reference set raises the relationship ceiling to 10 Hearts and includes proposal, marriage, family, and broader town-progress content. Town Rank is tracked up to 100 in the current guide scope.

These milestones do not mean every event has the same condition. Character pages, the Romance Options guide, and Mines pages separate general rules from story-gated routes.

★How to read later update notes

A post-1.0 patch can change a recipe, schedule, performance issue, or Mod compatibility without changing the original release date. Read the patch date and the affected system together.

If a guide conflicts with the client, record the version, platform, save state, and Mod list. Then check the linked official announcement before treating the older guide as current.

▤Before confirming an engagement

By default, becoming engaged changes other Dating relationships to Best Friends. Two Gameplay settings become available after the engagement tutorial. Hiding breakup letters and follow-up dialogue only hides those messages; it does not prevent the relationship change.

The separate setting that disables Dating → Best Friends must be enabled before you confirm the engagement. Switching it afterward is not a guaranteed way to restore a previous relationship. This is not a multiple-spouse feature. You may replay candidates' ten-heart events before making the final proposal choice.

Patch 1.0.3 fixed the missing letter reward after completing the Museum. It also prevents selecting festival setup days—Spring 14, Fall 7 and Winter 7—as wedding dates. These remain useful historical fixes when continuing an old save, but 1.0.5 is the current patch. Update before checking an old missing reward or choosing a wedding day.

Version 1.0.5 improves frame pacing and handheld performance, corrects Zorel's gift preferences and marks Jewel Beetle as Rare. The rarity correction does not move it to another museum set. Master Chef, Time Flies and First Place achievement fixes are included.

Stillwell's quests now count defeated monsters correctly and display their names correctly. If an older save appears stuck, update the game and check the quest log again before collecting more kills.
