All 69 achievements and completion tips

Check the requirements for all 69 Steam achievements and plan seasonal birthdays, market vendors, animal breeding, museum sets and long-term family milestones.

Major spoiler noticeThis page covers later characters, mine areas, or story structure; details appear in the relevant sections.

Direct answer

Fields of Mistria has 69 Steam achievements in this 1.0.5 list. Old saves can unlock achievements retroactively, so a new game is not required. Start tracking birthdays, seasonal collections and child milestones early; these can keep you waiting after the main story is finished.

Your achievement checklist

Mark your own progress here. This checklist does not read Steam or your save; check Steam to confirm an unlock.

0 / 69 marked complete

Use the list as a personal checklist

Search by achievement name or condition and compare each goal with Steam. The checkboxes on this site are your own notes; they do not read your save, unlock achievements or prove Steam has awarded them. Clearing browser data can remove these notes.

When returning with an older save, load it on the current version and check Steam before replaying a completed objective. Keep the original save if a retroactive award appears to be missing.

Start birthdays and seasonal collections now

Happy Birthday requires a liked or loved birthday gift for every villager. Mark the year and actual gifts in the calendar; a date having passed does not tell you whether you delivered one. Recheck newly met residents and market visitors so an unlocked character does not disappear from your plan.

Thoughtful Gifter is a different task: give every Liked and Loved item on one resident’s list. Pick a resident, reserve one of each seasonal ingredient or finished dish, and track distinct items. Zorel’s preferences changed in 1.0.5, so use the current list rather than an older screenshot.

Keep the long routes moving together

Visit the Saturday Market and follow town repair quests: Market Regular concerns the first four vendors, while Good Marketing and Hold Your A Plaza require successive pairs of additional vendors. Greeting a trader does not perform the town upgrade that brings a new one.

For Master Rancher, breed your first Tier 5 animal; reaching a ranching skill level is not the condition. Keep compatible breeding pairs and enough animal housing while progressing the other goals.

True Love needs ten hearts with someone you are dating; I do! needs a wedding. Parent and Time Flies continue beyond marriage, with the latter requiring your child’s first birthday. Start the family route before leaving only these achievements outstanding.

Separate donations, skills and lifetime totals

Fish Fanatic and Entomologist require the legendary fish and insect museum sets, respectively; catching a specimen without donating it does not complete a set. Celebrated Curator requires the whole museum. Use the museum checklist to reserve missing specimens before selling duplicates.

The individual Master skill achievements name level 60. Jack Of All Trades asks for the maximum in every skill, and Perk Procurer asks for a Tier 5 perk in each skill. A high skill level alone does not buy the perk. Essential Essence and Bread Winner use lifetime totals of 10,000 essence and 1,000,000 tesserae, rather than requiring those amounts to remain unspent.

Check fixed achievements before repeating work

Patch 1.0.5 fixed issues affecting Master Chef, Time Flies and First Place. Patch 1.0.4 corrected Stillwell mission quest counting, relevant to Hero. Update first, then check the objective and Steam status again.

Hero concerns all of Stillwell’s Mission Quests, not every routine board request. If an award is still missing, preserve the save and record the completed objective, version and Steam status for NPC Studio support; do not erase progress to force a retry.

Town ranks: the ten achievement milestones

Earn Renown by shipping items, making new museum donations and completing quests. These achievements use your town’s Renown level, not your money balance or a skill level. Collect each level’s rewards from the chest beside the Request Board.

A practical daily route is to keep the first specimen for the museum, ship spare produce and finish requests whose items you already have. Complete a project by reporting back to its quest giver; filling a donation box alone may leave the quest open.

Repair Caldarus’ shrine

On Spring 2 of Year 1, follow Eiland’s scene at the broken statue on your farm. The two of you restore the shrine during this introduction. Sleep afterward: the dream before Spring 3 introduces Essence, and you can then buy perks at the shrine. Buying a perk is a separate action from the shrine-repair achievement.

Who counts as a neighbor?

Greet each of the following characters directly. Dozy and Henrietta count too; speaking only to the human residents leaves two introductions unfinished. This is separate from greeting the four Saturday Market vendors.

Adeline, Celine, Juniper, Reina, Valen, Balor, Eiland, Hayden, March, Ryis, Dell, Dozy, Elsie, Errol, Hemlock, Holt, Henrietta, Josephine, Landen, Luc, Maple, Nora, Olric, Terithia.

Repair the Eastern Road bridge

Read Adeline’s letter on Spring 3 of Year 1 to start Repair the Bridge. Place 60 Wood and 60 Stone in the box beside the broken bridge on the Eastern Road, then report back to Adeline. Finishing this project opens the Saturday Market.

Restock the food reserves

After Repair the Bridge, read Adeline’s letter and meet her at the Manor House for Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves. Ship 10 crops, then speak to Adeline to finish. Keep the quest active while making these shipments; growing crops without selling them does not complete the objective.

Restore the mill: materials and final payment

Complete Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves, then wait 3 in-game days for Adeline’s letter. Meet her in her Manor House office to start The Mill Restoration Project. Put the materials in the donation box outside the mill, then bring 1,000t to Adeline. Copper ore does not replace Copper Ingots; the payment goes to Adeline, not the box.

Unlock the Summit stairs

After finishing The Mill Restoration Project, read Adeline’s next letter for Beautification Project. Meet her in front of the Manor House and complete the scene. This opens the stairs west of the museum in the Narrows, leading to the Summit. There is no second mill-sized material donation for this step; do not wait beside the broken stairs for a new repair box.

Upgrade the General Store

After Beautification Project, read Adeline’s letter and meet her at the General Store for Repair the General Store. Donate at the box outside the store, then pay Adeline 3,000t. The current requirement includes 5 Iron Ingots; older advice omitting them describes an earlier version.

Repair Terithia’s beach bridge

After Repair the General Store, read Terithia’s letter and meet her and Adeline at the beach. For Repair the Beach Bridge, use the donation box near Terithia’s house and give the final 1,000t to Terithia. This unlocks the western beach area.

Food reserves 2: eggs and cheese

After Repair the Beach Bridge, Adeline invites you to Hayden’s farm for Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves 2. Place 12 Chicken Eggs and 10 Cheese in the donation box outside the Inn, then talk to Adeline. This is a donation objective, unlike the first reserve quest’s crop shipments.

Upgrade Hayden’s barn and coop

After Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves 2, read Adeline’s letter and meet her at Hayden’s farm for Upgrade Hayden’s Barn. Put the materials in the box outside Hayden’s barn and bring 4,000t to Adeline. Upgrading the buildings on your own farm does not complete this town project.

Build the Stone Refinery

Finish Upgrade the Inn and continue raising Renown until Adeline’s Stone Refinery letter arrives. Meet her at the mine entrance, donate in the box there and pay her 5,000t. The unlocked workbench produces Refined Stone and Essence Stones needed for later projects.

Bring Wheedle and Taliferro to the market

Finish Stone Refinery and raise Renown until Adeline sends Upgrade the Saturday Market. Talk to her, donate at the Manor House box and return to her. Wheedle and Taliferro then join the Saturday Market. This is the first market upgrade; Stillwell and Zorel require the later expansion.

Complete Upgrade the Saturday Market and reach Renown level 70. Read Adeline’s letter for Upgrade the Carpenter’s Shop, meet her there, donate outside the shop and talk to her again. Reaching level 70 alone does not bypass the earlier town repairs.

Unlock Stillwell and Zorel’s stalls

Complete Upgrade the Carpenter’s Shop and reach Renown 80. Read Nora’s letter for Expanding the Saturday Market and meet Nora and Adeline at the Manor House. Donate at the plaza west of the Blacksmiths, then speak to Adeline. Stillwell and Zorel will attend the Saturday Market after the expansion.

Greet the new market vendors

After Expanding the Saturday Market, read Nora’s Meet the New Vendors letter. On Saturday, speak separately to Stillwell and Zorel at their stalls, then report to Nora. Simply unlocking their stalls does not finish this introduction quest; completing it is also a prerequisite for the Bell Tower.

Repair the Bell Tower

Finish Meet the New Vendors and reach Renown 90, then read Zorel’s Repair the Bell Tower letter. Meet Zorel, Adeline and Landen at the tower. Donate the four requested materials in the box outside and report to Adeline to finish. A Monster Core is not a Dragon-Forged Core; prepare the crafted dragon item separately.

Craft both dragon materials at the Dragon Forge on mine floor 90 after finishing The Dragonsworn Tablet; Blacksmithing 30 is required. Dragon-Forged Fang uses Monster Fang ×5, Void Stone ×5, Void Herb ×5, Written Root ×1 and Medium Essence Stone ×1.

Dragon-Forged Core uses Monster Core ×5, Mistril Ingot ×1, Pink Diamond ×1, Ancient Firefly ×1 and Medium Essence Stone ×1. Each recipe takes 50 in-game minutes before crafting-time reductions. These are additional items for the tower; materials already offered to the Final Seal have been consumed.

Two different late-night achievements

Go To Sleep Already requires passing out from staying up too late. Let the clock reach 2:00 am without going to bed; losing all health in the mines is a different cause of fainting. With the oversleep penalty enabled, you wake at 10:00 am with 75% health and stamina.

Close Call instead requires choosing to sleep after 1:50 am and before 2:00 am. Be beside your bed before the window starts, wait until after 1:50, then confirm sleep before 2:00. You cannot earn both outcomes on the same night.

Level 60, all skills and Tier 5 perks

Master Farmer, Master Blacksmith, Master Chef and Master Woodcrafter each require level 60 in that named skill. Jack Of All Trades requires all nine skills at 60: Farming, Fishing, Archaeology, Cooking, Ranching, Woodcrafting, Blacksmithing, Mining and Combat. Check the Skills tab in your journal to find the unfinished ones. Master Rancher is different: it requires breeding a Tier 5 animal.

Perk Procurer adds a purchase requirement: after reaching level 60 in each skill, spend Essence on at least one Tier 5 perk in each of the nine trees. Buy Mining and Combat perks at the dragon statue inside the mines; buy the other seven at Caldarus’ farm shrine. Essence appears as glowing orbs from skill activities after Spring 3. An Essence Drop item is not the same as this currency.

Train the skill whose level is missing: plant, water and harvest for Farming; catch fish for Fishing; excavate dig spots for Archaeology; cook recipes for Cooking; feed and pet animals for Ranching; craft furniture for Woodcrafting; make ingots or equipment for Blacksmithing; break rocks and ore for Mining; defeat monsters for Combat. Reaching the level threshold does not buy a perk automatically.

Meet the first four market vendors

Finish Repair the Bridge, then visit the town-center Saturday Market on a Saturday. Speak to Darcy, Louis, Merri and Vera individually. Purchases are not required for the greeting achievement. If Greet the Vendors is active, report back to Nora afterward to finish that quest too.

Water Seal: floor 20 offerings

Reach floor 20, inspect the tablet and take the rubbing to Eiland. Finish the translation conversation with Eiland and Juniper before returning with the four offerings. Put one of each item into its matching claw altar on floor 20.

  • Ruby ×1: mine ruby nodes on floors 1–19.
  • Stone Loach ×1: fish in the Upper Mines.
  • Upper Mines Mushroom ×1: collect it from the ground in the Upper Mines.
  • Lantern Moth ×1: catch it near light sources in the Upper Mines.
Note

Opening the seal unlocks floors 21–39 and Summon Rain. A mushroom or fish from a different biome will not substitute for the named offering.

Earth Seal: floor 40 offerings

Inspect the tablet on floor 40 and speak to Juniper about its rubbing. Gather the following items in the Tide Caverns, floors 21–39, then place one of each in the claw altars on floor 40.

  • Sapphire ×1: mine sapphire nodes.
  • Archerfish ×1: fish in the Tide Caverns.
  • Jade Dulse ×1: collect it as a forageable.
  • Coral Mantis ×1: catch it with your bug net.
Note

The completed seal opens floors 41–59 and grants Growth. Bring a fishing rod and a bug net on your collection trips; mining alone cannot supply all four offerings.

Fire Seal: Balor’s scroll and floor 60 offerings

At floor 60, inspect the Fire Tablet and ask Juniper to translate it. This starts the Sealing Scroll task. Wait for Balor’s message, meet him in his room, then use the donation chest beside his wagon. Ordinary gifts handed to Balor do not complete this delivery.

  1. Deposit 10 Rubies, 10 Sapphires, 10 Emeralds and 10 Silver Ingots in the wagon-side chest, then speak to Balor to obtain the Sealing Scroll.
  2. Keep one extra Emerald for the seal: the full route consumes 11 Emeralds, including the 10 delivered to Balor.
  3. Return to floor 60 with Faceted Rock Gem ×1, Rockroot ×1, Emerald ×1 and Sealing Scroll ×1. Find these on floors 41–59: dig artifact spots with a shovel or pickaxe for Faceted Rock Gem, forage Rockroot and mine Emerald nodes.
  4. Offer all four items to the seal and finish the scene. This unlocks the Lava Caves and Dragon’s Breath, which opens the Deep Woods route.

Ruins Seal: make the Void Mass, then offer four items

Reaching floor 80 starts Creating The Void Mass. Follow the Priestess into the Void Seal room to receive Void Sight; you cannot collect the required void resources before this stage.

  1. Gather 5 Void Stones from their nodes, 5 Void Powders from monsters, 5 Void Herbs by foraging and 5 Void Pearls by fishing in the Mines after obtaining Void Sight.
  2. Put these four stacks in the cauldron in the Void Seal room. The Priestess creates a decoy; use it to take the tablet rubbing.
  3. Collect Breath of Flame ×1, Smoke Moth ×1, Firesail Fish ×1 and Obsidian ×1 in the Lava Caves, floors 61–79. These come from foraging, bug catching, fishing and obsidian clusters respectively; Lava Cats also drop Obsidian.
  4. Give the offerings to the void decoy and direct it to open the floor 80 seal. Do not try to deliver them directly to the tablet yourself.
Note

Making the Void Mass is an intermediate step. The Ruins Seal achievement requires opening the seal afterward, which grants access to the Ancient Ruins.

Floor 90 Magic Key puzzle: flowers, forge and seed

The key is grown from the Seed of Balance; it is not a random monster drop. Bring a Temple Flower, a Marigold, a watering can and enough mana to cast Dragon’s Breath. Both flowers can be gathered in the Deep Woods; its year-round Marigold lets you finish outside summer.

  1. Explore the northwest room in the Priestess Quarters and read its clue, then light the Dragon Forge in the southwest room using Dragon’s Breath.
  2. Inspect the library and offer Temple Flower ×1 and Marigold ×1 at the Priestess Tablet to receive the Seed of Balance.
  3. Plant the seed in the Field Room on floor 90, not on your farm. Water it daily for four days, or cast Growth to mature it immediately.
  4. Harvest the Magic Key and unlock the door in the Priestess Quarters. This opens floors 91–100 and grants Sacred Light.

Final Seal: friendship gates and Dragon Forge recipes

Reach floor 100 and inspect the Dragonsworn Tablet. Both Juniper and Eiland must be at 8 hearts, and you must have watched both 8-heart events. Talk to Juniper afterward and finish The Dragonsworn Tablet to unlock the four offering recipes. Lighting the forge on floor 90 alone does not unlock these recipes.

At Blacksmithing level 30, craft one of each offering at the Dragon Forge on floor 90, then offer them at the Dragonsworn Tablet on floor 100. Each recipe takes 50 in-game minutes before crafting-time perks.

  • Dragon-Forged Fang: Monster Fang ×5, Void Stone ×5, Void Herb ×5, Written Root ×1, Medium Essence Stone ×1.
  • Dragon-Forged Horn: Monster Horn ×5, Void Powder ×5, Void Pearl ×5, Void Snail ×1, Medium Essence Stone ×1.
  • Dragon-Forged Core: Monster Core ×5, Mistril Ingot ×1, Pink Diamond ×1, Ancient Firefly ×1, Medium Essence Stone ×1.
  • Dragon-Forged Powder: Monster Powder ×5, Mistril Ingot ×1, Pink Diamond ×1, Luminescent Crab ×1, Medium Essence Stone ×1.

Written Root; Void Snail; Ancient FireflyAncient Ruins, floors 81–99: forage the root; use a bug net for the snail and firefly.
Luminescent CrabFish medium shadows in the Ancient Ruins. It is a fishing catch, not a net-caught insect.
Pink Diamond; Mistril IngotMine pink diamond and mistril nodes in the Ancient Ruins. Forge each ingot from 10 Mistril Ore.
Monster Fang; Monster Powder; Monster CoreSaplings drop fangs, mushroom monsters drop powder, and Enchanterns drop cores. All three can be farmed in the Upper Mines.
Monster HornDefeat Stalagmite monsters in the Tide Caverns, Deep Earth or Lava Caves.
Void Stone; Void Herb; Void Powder; Void PearlWith Void Sight: mine void nodes, gather herbs, defeat monsters and fish small shadows, respectively.
Note

Reserve four Medium Essence Stones, two Mistril Ingots and two Pink Diamonds in total. A Medium Essence Stone costs 20 Stone and 50 Essence at the Stone Refinery; do not consume the stones you are saving for the forge.

Open the Deep Woods entrance

First complete the Fire Seal on floor 60 to learn Dragon’s Breath. Go to the northern staircase on the Eastern Road and burn the thick vines with that spell, then enter the Deep Woods. An axe cannot replace the spell at this entrance.

Bring a Copper Axe or better if you also want to reach the temple courtyard: its large stump is a separate obstacle inside the woods. You do not need to finish the final mine seal to enter this region.

First ranch animal: a chicken for 2,500 Tesserae

A first-tier chicken is a straightforward way to earn New Friend. Budget 2,500 Tesserae, 75 Wood and 50 Stone if you do not already have a coop. Chickens have no additional town-story unlock requirement.

  1. Buy a Small Coop blueprint from the Carpenter for 1,500 Tesserae. Clear a 12 × 10 space on your farm, place the blueprint and supply 75 Wood plus 50 Stone to complete construction.
  2. With a finished coop and a free animal slot, open the adoption menu at Hayden’s Shop. Buy a tier-1 chicken for 1,000 Tesserae, choose its appearance and sex, name it and assign its home.
  3. Keep the animal fed and pet it each day. A small coop holds four animals; a blueprint in your backpack does not count as housing.
Note

This is a livestock adoption. The cat or dog from the pet dream does not fulfill New Friend.

Adopt a pet through the dream

The pet adoption dream can occur from Spring 7 in Year 1 onward. Go to sleep and choose your cat or dog, color, name and sex in the dream. The pet arrives on the farm the following morning and lives in your house.

You do not buy this pet from Hayden or need a coop, barn, bed or food bowl first. The Animals tab in your journal lets you later change its name, species and color, or assign a collection job. Adopting a cat or dog is separate from the New Friend achievement for a ranch animal.

Unlock Mistmare through Hayden’s weathervane quest

Complete Upgrade Hayden’s Barn after Restocking Mistria’s Food Reserves 2: donate 400 Wood, 500 Stone and 8 Iron Ingots outside Hayden’s barn, then pay Adeline 4,000 Tesserae. Building a barn on your own farm is not the same quest.

  1. Wait one day after finishing the upgrade. The overnight windstorm leads to Hayden’s Find the Weathervane quest.
  2. Search The Narrows near the Wild Grape bushes for Hayden’s Weathervane while the quest is active, and complete his request.
  3. Interact with the Horse Statue on the west side of The Narrows and spend 100 Essence to unlock Mistmare.
  4. Use the summon-mount control outdoors; the default PC binding is =. Mistmare cannot be summoned inside buildings or the Mines.
Note

Buying a regular horse does not unlock Mistmare. The unlock depends on Hayden’s town upgrade, the weathervane quest and the Horse Statue.

Win first place at the Spring Festival

For First Place, collect at least 50 Breath of Spring during Spring 14–16. Fishing, diving, harvesting and other everyday tasks can drop the flowers during this window. Keep collecting until you have 50; 60 unlocks an extra prize but is not required for first place.

On Spring 17, Celine collects the flowers when you leave home, including those in storage. Attend the festival in town and finish the prize ceremony. If you miss the collection window, prepare for next spring; simply attending the festival does not win the competition.

Bring a date to the Shooting Star Festival

Finish Beautification Project to open the Summit, then reach at least 4 hearts with a romance candidate before Summer 28. On the festival morning, leave home to receive the Shooting Star Brooch from Elsie. Give it to the candidate and get an accepted invitation; a Best Friends relationship can lead to rejection.

After 8 PM, talk to your invited partner to start the festival scene. Watching alone is not the date required for Love Is in the Air. Finish farm work first: the scene ends the day.

Buy all four farmhouse upgrades

Buy Home Upgrades 1–4 in order at the Carpenter. The fourth also requires the story quest Upgrade the Carpenter’s Shop. These are farmhouse upgrades, not extra barns or the separate farm-land expansion. Each purchase takes effect immediately.

The total is 95,000t, 1,500 Wood, 1,500 Stone, 20 Iron Ingots, 20 Silver Ingots, 200 Hard Wood, 100 Refined Stone and 30 Gold Ingots. Decorative exterior changes are separate and are not another house-size upgrade.

Complete Stillwell’s 12 missions for Hero

Complete Expanding the Saturday Market to unlock Stillwell. On Saturdays, take missions from the board beside his stall. Accept each mission before working on its objective, finish it, then return to Stillwell and continue the sequence. Ordinary requests or friendship gifts do not replace these missions.

For Malicious Mimics, throw items into five Mimics’ open mouths; defeating them is not the objective. If kills fail to count or the objective says MISSING, update to 1.0.4 or later and check the active quest again. The table follows the mission order; complete the final turn-in as well as the combat.

Earn a lifetime total of 1,000,000t

Bread Winner counts total tesserae earned, not the money currently in your wallet. Keep shipping surplus crops, fish and animal products and collecting quest payments; you can still spend on upgrades. Reserve museum donations and active quest materials before selling, and check the earned total rather than waiting to hold one million at once.

Earn 10,000 Essence over the life of your save

Essential Essence counts 10,000 Essence earned in total. You can spend Essence on perks as you go; you do not need to keep 10,000 unspent. After Caldarus introduces Essence, collect the glowing orbs from skill activities such as farming, mining and fishing. Rotate activities to raise skills alongside the total. Essence is the perk currency, not the inventory item Essence Drop.
